FounderALEX WITKUS
Alex is a former Division 1 baseball player at Fairfield University who later became a certified public accountant for Deloitte, but quickly realized he was not meant to spend his career sitting at a desk. In 2018, Alex transitioned into the fitness industry full-time as he found it was the best way for him to make a positive impact on those around him.
Early on in Alex’s fitness career he was very competitive, especially in the CrossFit world. However, after becoming a business owner, a farmer, a husband, and a father he has shifted his focus and you will see that in his programming. He designs workouts that allow his busy clientele to maximize their individual potentials.
Alex loves witnessing individuals of all backgrounds set after goals and achieve things they once thought were never possible. And this is all done through his structured strength and conditioning program. His programming is stable and will meet you wherever you are at not only in your fitness journey, but in life.

As a mom of two and a supportive wife, Annie plays an integral role in bringing her husband’s vision for The Stable to life. She understands firsthand what it means to juggle competing priorities, and she’s committed to building a community that supports real life…not just ideal routines.
CARL KLEIN
Manager & TrainerCrossFit L2 Trainer | Certified Hyrox Level 1 Trainer
Endurance Athlete | Army Veteran
WZA Open Pairs Co-ed (2026)
Team USA, OCR World Championships (2018)
Spartan Death Race Finisher (2016)
20+ Spartan & Tough Mudder Finishes
With over a decade of experience leading athletes to the highest levels of competition, Carl brings a "mission-first" mentality to every class he coaches. Whether you are stepping onto the floor for the first time or prepping for a podium finish, his goal is to help you build a body that is as functional as it is resilient.
His coaching philosophy is rooted in 14 years of experience as a high school Wrestling and Track & Field coach. During that time, he had the privilege of mentoring seven athletes to the National Championships in Track and Field. Carl knows what it takes to peak at the right time and how to cultivate the mental toughness required.
Before finding his passion in fitness, Carl served in the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout and Helicopter Mechanic. That experience instilled in him a deep appreciation for discipline, precision, and the importance of having equipment (and a body) that never fails when the pressure is on.
“Alex is the embodiment of a coach. He is a leader. Alex lives by the mantra of “movement as medicine,” and leads by example through his commitment to training. He is a mentor. Through his work ethic to be a continually evolving athlete and thoughtful programmer and business owner, he attracts community members to want to learn from him – and he is generous with his time to help. He pays attention to his team, down to minor details. Alex makes a consistent habit of talking to everyone that comes into the gym. He asks them about how they are doing and what they are working on today. When I was new to the gym, Alex noticed that I was flaming out towards the latter half of workouts. He pulled me aside and asked me about my pre-workout nutrition. And he does this with every member of a team of 200+.”
